CCIVN Secure Entry (Internal Enterprise Use)

Internal use
Purpose:
CCIVN Secure Entry is an internal enterprise application used by authorized employees working in restricted manufacturing areas that follow company security policies designed to protect intellectual property.
The application helps employees confirm entry and exit from restricted areas and supports internal compliance procedures related to device usage policies.
Camera clarification:
The application does not access, use, or control the device camera.
Where required by workplace policy, employees may optionally install a signed iOS configuration profile through device settings that applies temporary device usage policies while inside restricted areas.
Installation of the profile is voluntary and performed manually by the employee. The profile can be removed by the user at any time through device settings.
1) Scope
This application is intended for internal company use only and is distributed privately through Apple Business Manager (Custom App distribution).
2) Device administration & consent
- iOS (No MDM enrollment): The application does not enroll devices into MDM and does not manage or control the device.
- Employees use their own devices (BYOD). Any configuration profile installation is performed manually through iOS Settings.
- The configuration profile can be removed by the user at any time.
3) Data minimization
- Operational data may include employee ID, entry/exit confirmation, timestamps and system logs required for internal verification.
- The application does not collect contacts, messages, personal photos, videos or private account data.
- No advertising, marketing, or third-party tracking technologies are used.
4) Entry / exit confirmation
- The application communicates with internal company APIs to confirm employee entry and exit events.
- Minimal operational information is used for this purpose.
- The application does not collect biometric data from the device.
5) Security & retention
- Access to operational logs is restricted to authorized administrators.
- Communication with company systems uses secure HTTPS connections.
- Operational data is retained only as long as required for internal security procedures.
6) Configuration profile & web clips (iOS)
Where applicable, the configuration profile may install two web clips on the device home screen: CCIVN Entry and CCIVN Exit.
- These web clips open secure internal company endpoints.
- They are used only to confirm entry and exit events.
- No personal data is collected by these web clips.
